No less than five new Bridgestone Battlax motorcycle tyres will be shown to the public for the first time at EICMA 2017 this month. The touring, adventure, scooter and racing segment tyres will be on display at the Bridgestone stand (Hall 24, Stand G57) between 7 and 12 November. The new additions to the Battlax range are:
Two new sizes have been added to both the Mitas Terra Force-R and E-10 ranges, and the Trelleborg Group company is showing all newcomers at its EICMA stand (Hall 10, stand L52) this week, along with other ranges.
This week is EICMA week in Italy, and hundreds of thousands of visitors are expected to attend this year’s show in Milan. Bridgestone will once again be present as an exhibitor, and is unveiling two new tyre lines – the Battlecruise H50 and Battlecross X10.
Two new products will enter the Pirelli scooter tyre range in 2017, and those interested in a sneak preview can see both at the EICMA show in Milan this week. The Italian tyre maker says the new Angel Scooter and Diablo Rosso Scooter will be “available with a complete range of sizes” and will progressively replace and expand upon the current Diablo Scooter range during the course of next year.
The EICMA International Motorcycle Show in Milan, Italy begins today, and Bridgestone is on hand with several premières. The tyre maker says the star of the show at its 178m² stand (Pavilion 24, stand M77) is the new Battlax Hypersport S21, which will be shown for the first time at EICMA 2015 and is on display fitted to the new-generation 1-litre Yamaha R1. Bridgestone is also presenting its latest flagship hypersport wet racing tyre, the Battlax Racing W01, for the first time ever.
Milan-based motorcycle exhibition EICMA gets under way tomorrow, and Mitas says it will unveil a new dual-purpose radial tyre there. Called the Terra Force-R, the tyre is said to feature a “street-oriented tread pattern” that offers “excellent traction on wet or dry roads and outstanding performance on light off-road surfaces.”
Bridgestone has drawn on its wet weather tyre expertise to produce the Battlax Racing W01, which it describes as an “all-new flagship wet race tyre” and “one which is destined for the podium.”
At EICMA 2015, Bridgestone will unveil its new Battlax Hypersport S21 radial – a tyre that blends proven wet weather technology and innovative new features, giving impressive performance in all conditions and on all surfaces.
