ZC Rubber and DSV agree 10-year partnership extension

ZC Rubber has extended its strategic partnership with logistics firm DSV. The new agreement extends their successful collaboration by 10 years. DSV A/S, the parent company of DSV Road Holding NV employs over 60,000 people across 90 countries. Recently, DSV outbid several competitors to acquire DB Schenker, the logistics subsidiary of German state-owned railway operator Deutsche Bahn, for approximately 14.3 billion euros. This acquisition marks a significant expansion for DSV in the logistics sector, positioning it to become the world’s largest freight operator.

Ultra-Seal gains Schmitz Cargobull and Kögel as OE customers

Schmitz Cargobull and Kögel Trailer GmbH & Co. KG recently started filling tyres with Ultra-Seal from their respective trailer factories. The news comes is one of a series of announcements that show a significant jump in Ultra-Seal usage.

At the same time Ultra-Seal reports that it is “systematically acquiring full European network coverage by contracting Europart Denmark and Eurotyre Belgium for the distributorship rights for the sale of Ultra-Sea”.

Westlake supplies 3000 DSV trailers with tyres in OE expansion bid

Westlake tyres is supplying global transport and logistics firm DSV with tyres for 3000 commercial vehicle trailers as the sole original equipment fitment. According to Westlake representatives, the latest news comes as part of a strategy for Westlake to expand in the OE market for the fleets in Europe during the coming year.

DSV now exclusive Westlake distributor in Scandinavia

Under an agreement entered into with ZC Rubber Group Co. Ltd. and the Pneuhage Company Group, Danish transport and logistics company DSV A/S has gained exclusive distributor rights for the Westlake tyre brand in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. DSV will cooperate closely with official ZC Rubber European distributor Pneuhage to offer Westlake tyres to contracted hauliers and the wider commercial vehicle market in the four countries.
