ATS Euromaster is warning that the impact of recent National Insurance and minimum wage chances combined with other items such as the ZEV Mandate means fleet managers are facing presurised budgets in 2025.

Indeed, ATS Euromaster has seen the impact of this already as fleets squeeze maintenance programmes. One sign that SMR budgets are being constricted in 2025 is the de-tiering in tyre brand policy for some businesses. According to the company, “budget tyres will help ease pressures on SMR budgets in the short term but may not provide the same level of in-life longevity and require changing more often”.
