At the start of next year Derek Carruthers will take over as chief executive officer of Black Donuts Engineering Inc. Carruthers commences in this capacity on 1 January and succeeds Kai Hauvala, company founder, CEO and president. Hauvala will continue working with the company.
Cooper Tire Europe has appointed Mirco Spiniella as its new business development director. Spiniella will be responsible for the implementation of Cooper’s sales and marketing strategy, with a focus on business intelligence and key account management in the German, Swiss, Spanish and French markets. He will report to Sylvain Borré, general manager European Subsidiaries.
Cooper Tire Europe has expanded its continental sales force with the addition of two new managers. Christophe Huss and Jacques Licata join a Cooper sales team that, globally, has had a strong start to 2014.
Derek Carruthers has been named as sales and marketing director for Cooper Tire Europe. Within the internal corporate structure, Derek Carruthers will be reporting to managing director Jeff Schumaker and is responsible for sales, marketing, pricing and customer service.
