Nexen Tire is now a full member of the Global Data Service Organization (GDSO) for Tyres and Automotive Components. Announcing its decision to join, the company states that this membership “underlines Nexen Tire’s position as one of the world’s leading tyre manufacturers and its commitment to advancing the industry with technical innovations.”

Colourful big cats are teaming up with tyres in a new collaboration between Nexen Tire and Haitian-American artist Kervin Brisseaux. The tyre maker explains that efforts to establish itself as “a trendy and innovative brand” in the European market are behind the advertising campaign that is based upon Brisseaux’s artwork.
Earlier in the month, Tyrepress.com reported that Kumho Tire has succeeded Nexen Tire as official tyre partner of football club AC Milan. Nexen Tire has now announced a new partnership but remains within Italy’s Serie A championship as partner of Juventus FC. The Korean tyre maker takes over from Linglong Tire, who had partnered with Juventus since 2018.
John Bosco Kim, currently president of Nexen Tire Europe, is returning to the tyre maker’s headquarters in South Korea to take on a new position there from mid-November. His European remit will be taken over by Peter Gulow, who is currently Nexen Tire Europe’s vice-president Europe Central & East, and DC Kim, vice-president Europe sales and marketing.
