Sterling Automotive Design makes Davanti official tyre partner

Vehicle customiser Sterling Automotive Design has signed a new partnership with Davanti Tyres. Blackburn-based Sterling is a new design house specialising in reimagining iconic vehicles with British style. Their work includes bespoke full-vehicle, premium customisations and lighter-touch enhancements to external bodywork or upholstery. Sterling brand director Doug Topott said fellow British brand Davanti shares “a similar ethos” to the company.

North West 4×4 Response fits Davanti Terratoura tyre

North West 4×4 Response has made Davanti its tyre partner. The crisis support charity will fit the brand’s all-terrain Terratoura as its official tyre. North West 4×4 Response volunteer drivers use their own 4×4 vehicles to provide access for midwives, firefighters, food and supplies to communities that are difficult to access.

Davanti signs TTI distribution deal for France, Germany, Benelux

Davanti has unveiled a major distribution deal with Dutch wholesaler Tyre Trading International (TTI) at Equip Auto in Paris. The British tyre brand, which is now distributed in more than 60 countries globally, inked the deal offering next-day delivery across France, Germany, and the Benelux countries at the event.

Newest dealers get the Davanti Experience in Portimão

Davanti Tyres’ association with Portugal’s Autódromo Internacional do Algarve has continued, with the Oak Group brand making an annual visit to introduce new customers to its range. Davanti has been the official tyre of the AIA’s Racing School since 2017. The 2019 event saw 40 customers take on a series of driving challenges at the circuit to put the brand’s car tyres through their paces.

Davanti progressing with Protoura, planning all-season segment entry

The latest Davanti Tyres project, the Protoura Sport, made its Far East debut at CITExpo in August. We caught up with Michael Eckert, sales director for mainland Europe, at the show. He told us that Davanti was currently testing the Protoura Sport prior to submitting the tyre to product certification firm IDIADA. “Volume production will probably then start before the end of this year, and the first Protoura Sport tyres should arrive in Europe in March or April 2020.”

The new site offers users more detail, including 4K animations demonstrating its products’ performance characteristics, a new tyre-matching system, and an updated Davanti dealer locator. Portimão racetrack extends Davanti official tyre partnership for three more years

The Autódromo do Algarve has agreed a three-year extension to its official tyre partnership with Davanti Tyres. The circuit, which plays host to the European LeMans Series, 24H Endurance Series, the FIM World Superbike Championship, and the Algarve Classic festival, is recognised for the technical challenge it poses to racers. The UK tyre brand, which launched its first tyre in 2015, describes the new deal as “a massive coup.”

Davanti has established exclusive distribution deals in five new territories following its participation at The Tire Cologne. The brand stated that the impact of the show has “exceeded expectations”. Terratoura all-terrain tyre extends Davanti range

Since launching with the mass-market focused DX390 and high performance DX640 in 2015, UK based Davanti Tyres has developed and tuned its range to target expansion into global markets. Last year the company produced its first winter tyres to increase its ability to access customers in the northern hemisphere, especially those countries with legislation requiring the fitment of cold weather tread. Now, in a press launch event at Millbrook, where development partner Tread has been testing for the brand, Davanti has brought to market another fitment designed to increase its reach into global markets, the all-terrain Terratoura, in 10 initial sizes between 15 and 17 inches.
