Autoparts UK has reached its 25th anniversary of trading in the automotive aftermarket. After reaching this milestone, the motor factor is investing more resources in order to raise awareness of its exclusive brands, products and services such as its Loyalty Link rewards programme, all of which are designed to support the running of an independent garage.
Autoparts-sponsored stock car racer, Siobhan Martin, has won the National Points Series for the third consecutive year while also claiming second position in the European Finals at Ipswich Spedeweekend on 2 – 3 July.

Autoparts UK was named the UAN distributor of the year at the recent Groupauto/UAN Gala Dinner and Trade Show. The parts distributor, which operates out of 12 branches with a head office in Glasgow, Scotland, has been a member of the group for nearly 10 years.
Autoparts UK has joined the National Tyre Distributors Association (NTDA) as the same time as launching an exclusive range of Orium Tyres. There are six Autoparts branches, five Midwest Motor Factor sites and Monmore Auto Parts joining NTDA membership meaning that group factor manager, Craig McCracken, will also join the NTDA Executive Council.
Autoparts UK has extended its bicycle activities by becoming the official distributor for Coyote Fat Tyre Bikes. The motor factor says that initial sales already ahead of expectations; it is positioned to capitalise on the recently documented increase in cycling’s popularity in the UK.
Autoparts UK brought some romance to its customers recently with a successful Valentine’s Day promotion. Garages had to spend £99 on any Autoparts product to receive a bottle of ‘bubbly’ and box of chocolates.
National Autoparts has been presented with Autoparts UK’s supplier of the year 2014 award. Voted by Autoparts team members, including branch staff, National Autoparts won a close contest with runner-up Exol Lubricants. The award marks the culmination of a very successful 2014 for Autoparts, who itself recently won the IAAF distributor of excellence award.
