Cosmo Tires has become an official partner of college football team the University of Miami Hurricanes. This official relationship builds upon the connection the wholesaler has with the team through chief executive officer, Tony Gonzalez, and president, Joaquin Gonzalez Jr., who are both proud alumni of the University of Miami.
As of 1 July 2024, all Cosmo Tires will feature a new “cutting-edge” label design. According to the company, “these labels are more than just informative; they reflect Cosmo’s brand identity, merging visual appeal with practical information for the consumer.”
Cosmo Tires, the private label brand exclusively distributed by Tire Group International (TGI), hosted its second annual Car & Truck Show, dubbed “Kool Kat Ambush” at its 200,000 square foot facility in Miami, Florida.
Centeno’s Tire has become the exclusive distributor of Cosmo Tires distributor in Puerto Rico. To commemorate the partnership, Centeno’s Tire hosted national tire dealer convention on Sunday 18 November. The over 1000 participants invited include TGI president, Joaquin Gonzalez Jr.
Cosmo Tires and Paul’s Tire Services of Hollywood, Florida have opened the first Cosmo-branded retail store. The 8,000 square foot facility marks a significant milestone for Cosmo Tires offering “an enhanced tyre shopping experience for its customers.”
Tire Group International (TGI) has turned 30 years old, and as part of the year-long celebration of three decades in the business, the US-based tyre and tube supplier is commemorating the clients, team members and friends that helped the company get to where it is today.
Cosmo Tires, Tire Group International’s (TGI) oldest private label, has launched what it describes as “a premium mud tyre that is all about functional design”. The Cosmo Mud Kicker features a patented shoulder and bead area design designed to “raise the bar in off-road performance.” In addition, TGI reports that the tyre features an industry first reinforced bead area that provides grip features for added traction surface in deep mud or snow.
Cosmo Tires is excited to announce the three newest members of its product line, the M+S/All-Season El Jefe HT, the M+S/All Season and the All Weather rated El Tigre AT, and the M+S/All-Season TigerTail. All are available for immediate order.
Cosmo Tires has added a mileage warranty to its passenger and light truck tyre line-up. The Tire Group International brand also has a “recap and casing warranty” on all its truck and bus tyres. Together they comprise the new “Cosmo Tires Warranty Suite”, the company states. In addition to adding more than 10 new sizes to its comprehensive road hazard programme, Cosmo also provides a mileage warranty of up to 45,000 miles on its RC-17 and El Jefe HT lines.
A second generation of Cosmo Tires passenger car and truck/bus tyres is on its way, and amongst this assortment of new products are tyres that will be launched in European markets. Visitors to The Tire Cologne will be amongst the first to see the new range; the range can be viewed during this month’s trade fair at Hall 8.1, Stand D065.
