The new Iveco eDaily 42S will drive exclusively on Continental tyres, with the Italian commercial vehicle manufacturer approving summer, all-season and winter tyre models as original equipment in size 235/65R16C 121/119R. Depending on market and preference, eDaily 42S buyers can choose from the Continental VanContact Ultra, VanContact Eco, VanContact4Season or VanContact Winter.
Continental has launched its new specialist summer van tyre developed to meet the needs of delivery services and tradespeople. The VanContact Ultra, which entered production in March 2022, has been developed for economical and heard-wearing urban driving, responding to the sustained growth in home deliveries. The summer tyre follows the December 2021 introduction of Conti’s latest all-season van tyre.
Continental has introduced its latest all-season van tyre. The new VanContact A/S Ultra is available from December 2021 in four dimensions for 16-inch rim diameters and is aimed at vans frequently used for delivery services and trade businesses, such as Mercedes Sprinter, VW Crafter and Fiat Ducato, as well as smaller vans like the Mercedes V-Class and VW T6. Continental will significantly expand the range in 2022 with sizes for 15-, 16- and 17-inch diameters.
