Clarios is helping make America great again with a US$6 billion plan to expand its manufacturing in the USA and to “accelerate American innovation.” The plan calls for both the expansion of existing operations and the building of new facilities, and Clarios anticipates that it will also “unlock innovation and create American jobs” thanks to recent executive orders and using federal advanced manufacturing tax credits.
Energy storage solutions firm Clarios is “marking a milestone in advanced energy storage for modern vehicles,” having produced its one-millionth 12-volt lithium-ion battery on 31 January 2025. It credits “the support of its global network” – including its Lithium Titanate Oxide (LTO) cell manufacturing facility in the USA and system assembly plant in Europe – as being instrumental in achieving this milestone.
Advanced battery technology firm and Brookfield Business Partners subsidiary Clarios has announced the launch of its new Connected Services business unit, which has secured its first commercial agreement with a European fleet operator. The agreement covers a solution designed to reduce idle times in heavy-duty vehicles, delivering both economic advantages and a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions.

The companies have agreed not to disclose financial details of their development agreement.
Battery and low-voltage architecture specialist Clarios has announced its intention to purchase Paragon GmbH & Co. KGaA’s power business, which produces batteries and battery management systems for the automotive industry. Chris Eperjesy has parted ways with Cooper Tire & Rubber after serving as the tyre maker’s chief financial officer for the past year and a half, and starting today has taken on a comparable role at Clarios. As CFO, Eperjesy will support the former Johnson Controls International battery business’s global growth objectives in “delivering smart energy storage solutions.”
