More than a dozen tyre-related firms are amongst the 600 or so exhibitors committed to participating in this year’s Hillhead show. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from manufacturers, distributors and accessories/consumables suppliers, and get to see their latest ranges in a unique location.
Magna Tyres Group has announced the appointment of City 1st as its UK distributor. Commenting on the wholesaler’s new role, Ray Coulson, OTR tyre sales manager at City 1st, says that “because Magna Tyres Group is known for their emphasis on quality combined with an affordable price we decided to start this mutual cooperation. Giving a reason for the choosing City 1st to distribute the off-road tyre range, Stephan van Leeuwen, Magna’s sales manager for the UK, notes that the two companies’ “business beliefs are similar.” He adds: “City 1st is a perfect distribution partner for Magna Tyres Group.”
Slough based City 1st is introducing Cameo and UniSerV from CAM across its four truck depots. The commercial tyre specialist wanted to go paperless and install an intuitive system to help its team of fitters to transition to a mobile system. The company states that it reviewed the options and gained feedback from other users before deciding to adopt CAM’s technologies.
