Disabled driving charity Speed of Sight and Landsail Tyres have announced a major extension of their title sponsorship deal for 2019. In 2018 the Manchester-based charity used the partnership to extend its reach across the UK, offering more car enthusiasts with disabilities the chance to enjoy the thrill of driving on a track day than ever before.
Kwik Fit has selected Children with Cancer UK as its first ever Charity of the Year. The UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people was chosen following a vote open to more than 5,000 Kwik Fit employees across the UK.

Tyre wholesaler Micheldever Tyre Services and a number of its tyre manufacturer suppliers recently raised £7000 in a charity auction in aid of Motor Neurone research on 21 September 2018. Micheldever executives thanked the tyre manufacturers (Bridgestone, Continental, Falken, Goodyear, Michelin, Pirelli and Yokohama for their “exceptional generosity”.
Automotive parts distributor, Melksham Motor Spares, has raised £7,500 for good causes, thanks to a charity raffle held at their 50th Anniversary Trade Show on 14 June. The raffle raised £5,800, with the grand total boosted to £7,500 by a £1,700 donation from the South West based distributor.
