It describes the expertise it gains from the series as a critical part of its ability to produce tyres that can be pushed to the toughest of limits, but the growing popularity of the series, including dedicated coverage up 550 per cent compared to 2013 and reaching younger audiences via mixed media coverage, also provides a hotbed for Cooper to display its performance credentials to new audiences across the globe.
Enjoy Tyre is meeting the competitive but growing UHP segment through its two major established brands, Rotalla and Routeway. The company states that its latest tyres meet current industry expectations ensuring superior fast-track performance in driving style and comfort. Over the last decade, Enjoy Tyre states that it has annually sold over one million tyres, while adding new patterns and sizes and upgrading of tyre label ratings for both summer and winter ranges.
New research by London based independent research company Astutus Research suggests that a domestic Chinese company could be about to join the top 10 global manufacturers of passenger car and light truck (PCLT) tyres. Linglong Tyre, currently ranked 12th globally in the segment by unit sales, is forecast to take tenth place by 2019, replacing South Korea’s Kumho Tyre. The move would make the manufacturer the first from China to enter the PCLT top 10.

Nexen Tire has announced four world premieres to be presented on its 370sqm booth at The Tire Cologne (Hall 6, Stand A-010 B-019) between 29 May and 1 June, 2018. Two of the new products will be the successor to the N´Fera SU1, the new N´Fera Sport, and the Winguard Sport 2 SUV.
A new initiative involving medium-sized fleet tyre service providers is taking place in June, marking the inaugural Fitter-Force Forum hosted by CAM.
The roundtable will bring together early adopters of the new Fitter-Force platform developed by CAM who have committed to the initiative including road-testing the platform ahead of its roll-out. Maxxis is heading to the Tire Cologne show (29 May to 01 June) ready to show off one of the most innovative tyres it has ever produced. The new Victra Sport 5 premium sport tyre will be officially unveiled on the manufacturer’s stand (Hall 7, C030) at 15.00 on the opening day. According to the company, the new tyre “is set to follow in the footsteps of other recently launched products by elevating the Maxxis range to a whole new level of performance.”
The all-new Tire Cologne Show in Germany taking place in May represents “the perfect opportunity for…Enjoy Tyre to further expand their growing trading influence in Europe through their popular Private Brands – Rotalla and Routeway”, company representatives said in a statement ahead of the show.
The GitiSynergyE1 has been selected as original equipment for the Seat Arona in size 205/60R16 92H. It is the third vehicle based on Volkswagen’s MQB A0 small car platform to roll out on a Giti Tire. The latest model in the steadily growing small SUV segment, the Arona is produced in Seat’s Martorell plant in Spain alongside the Ibiza.
