The trade show held on 23rd November by Parts Alliance owned business GMF Motor Factors has proved to be a resounding success.
The South Wales-based motor factors have been busy ever since the event following up on a deluge of enquiries received on the night but have already done sufficient business to have declared it more than worthwhile.
Klarius Products Ltd has added an additional 48 components to its emissions control range. New components cover applications across the automotive spectrum, incorporating old and new models. New parts now available include DPFs for the Ford Transit 2.4TDCi, exhaust muffler boxes with centre pipes for the Fiat 500, combined CAT and DPF units for the BMW 3, 5 and 6 series, plus tailpipes for the Nissan Navara 2.5DCi.

The latest ADAC statistics show that 39 per cent of all breakdowns are due to the battery.

New research shows that, while British motorists try to avoid the stresses that can be attributed to long drives by planning their journey ahead of time, most don’t do proper vehicle checks.
The research of 1,000 British motorists finds that over a quarter (26%) of drivers prefer to map out the route and just under a fifth (18%) like to check they have the right insurance cover before setting off. And only 1% of motorists admitted they don’t plan at all.
The Parts Alliance says their second major braking promotion of 2017, developed in conjunction with Delphi, has now found all of its main winners.

For a long time people have referred to the European tyre market in general and the UK tyre market in particular as mature markets. This kind of maturity is generally taken to mean low growth markets that are already well developed. Here markets are significant in size and 1 to 2 per cent growth per annum is normal.
