Tyrenet will utilise the open-access, digital tablet-based service work platform for truck, bus and van to improve the efficiency of its operations, which include exclusive service work for Hankook in the UK via the independent dealer network, Hankook Truck Masters.

Tructyre Fleet Management has made software systems provider CAM its ‘Supplier of the Year’ after receiving over 72 per cent of the votes from the senior management team. Tructyre MD Glenn Sherwood said that CAM “has worked really hard in 2014 to meet the needs of the business and the industry as a whole.” Mike Allen, managing director of CAM, said that its achievement had “been made possible because the organisation has been open and collaborative making for a dynamic and fruitful partnership.”
CAM and CAM International have signed a technical cooperation agreement with Pineapple Creative Ltd. The agreement will help the tyre industry software supplier to provide customers in the UK and Republic of Ireland with the opportunity to access cost effective web-oriented design and development for e-commerce related projects in conjunction with its own services.
Truck and car tyre retailer Strathclyde Tyres has joined Hampshire’s Horndean Tyres in introducing CAM’s UniSerV platform. The company states that it reviewed the options and gained feedback from other users before deciding to adopt CAM’s technologies.
The Dexel Tyre Group’s integration of CAM’s UniSerV application suite has gone live. The system is designed to help the commercial tyre supplier to increase job sheet processing efficiency. The system also provides a smoother transactional solution with tablet technology utilised for commercial jobs and breakdowns.

The platform will assist the retailer, which is primarily focused on commercial business, in streamlining job sheet processing, saving considerable admin time and cost, and professionalising its operation further.
