The new Fitter-Force platform from CAM is designed to remove many back-office costs and inaccuracies associated with the manual completion of service work for small to medium-sized fleet tyre service operators, while also improving customer service through operational responsiveness.
In fewer than four months, the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will become active, presenting businesses with a number of requirements related to the way they process data. Ahead of the 25 May 2018 deadline, systems provider CAM is introducing a dedicated GDPR online tool created by specialist lawyers to help customers prepare fully for “the seismic changes the legislation will generate.”

According to the company, the pivotal role the system is playing when it comes to accessing details down to the article level for brands, sizes and location of sale is becoming increasingly apparent.
CAM has appointed a new client liaison officer as part of the business’ ongoing expansion of its customer service commitment. An experienced sales and administration professional, Anna Morris will be the main point of contact for CAM’s existing customers. She will meet with customers face-to-face to facilitate ongoing client contact enabling tyre dealers to be current with the full suite of software and data solutions that CAM offers to help them expand their business opportunities.
CAM has appointed former England under-20 rugby international Rebecca Trist as a customer liaison officer. The company states that her appointment will bolster its customer service team, helping it to provide clients across UK and Republic of Ireland with the latest information on software solutions available to them, and how the technologies can assist in their business improvement.
CAM’s digital tablet-based work exchange for truck, bus and van, e-jobsheet is to be implemented by key dealers outside the UK following the success of a three-month European tour visiting Sweden, Denmark, Norway, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the Republic of Ireland.

The Tyre European Network (TEN), which comprises independent and professional tyre dealer networks covering 14 countries, has attended a presentation by CAM International on the integration options of e-jobsheet with the TiDaeX platform, enabling commercial tyre service work sharing across borders and languages. Hosted by Tyrenet in Liverpool, the meeting was attended by TEN service partners including Profil from the Netherlands, Top Service Team from Germany, Top Reifen Team from Austria, Dekk Partner from Norway, and Profile Euro Service from Belgium.
