e-jobsheet subscribers will be able to offer an improved service for inspecting and auditing direct and third party fleets with the introduction of the new fleet audit facility next month, as the open-architecture, digital tablet-based work exchange for truck, bus and van moves into testing by dedicated fleet auditors during August.
The Tyre European Network (TEN), which comprises independent and professional tyre dealer networks covering 14 countries, has attended a presentation by CAM International on the integration options of e-jobsheet with the TiDaeX platform, enabling commercial tyre service work sharing across borders and languages. Hosted by Tyrenet in Liverpool, the meeting was attended by TEN service partners including Profil from the Netherlands, Top Service Team from Germany, Top Reifen Team from Austria, Dekk Partner from Norway, and Profile Euro Service from Belgium.
In what Cam International described as “a landmark moment for the commercial tyre service sector in Europe”, a fully digital jobsheet was completed between Bridgestone systems and the e-jobsheet digital tablet app – without a re-keying process required by office based administrators at either end.
TyreWORK has become the first commercial vehicle and tyre management service provider to go live with the new UniSerV platform from CAM. Extended with e-jobsheet, CAM says the platform features improved “operational agility”, and increased “administrative efficiency in data processing from the field.”
Infleet, the independent network of UK-based tyre service providers, is committing to CAM International’s e-jobsheet. By signing up for the open-access, digital, tablet-based service work platform for truck, bus and van, Infleet will be able to process job data via its Tyreman platform to speed up invoicing and provide an agile, efficient and professional service with its third party fleet contract holders.
CAM International is making e-jobsheet.com available in three major European languages, as the company seeks greater penetration on the continent. The digital tablet-based work exchange for truck, bus, and van tyres is going live in French, German and Spanish.
e-jobsheet.com, the multi-language, digital tablet-driven work exchange for truck, bus and van tyres went ‘live’ on 16 September as a ‘standalone’ system. This entry level offering provides a cloud-based job launch and work management platform within the e-jobsheet subscription, which aims to appeal to all service providers, even those with a single fitter.
Independent Tyre Distributors Network Ltd (ITDN) has committed to e-jobsheet, the open-access, digital tablet-based service work platform for truck, bus and van. ITDN has initially agreed to work with e-jobsheet for five years.
CAM and CAM International have signed a technical cooperation agreement with Pineapple Creative Ltd. The agreement will help the tyre industry software supplier to provide customers in the UK and Republic of Ireland with the opportunity to access cost effective web-oriented design and development for e-commerce related projects in conjunction with its own services.
At the end of April Cam International previewed its new e-jobsheet.com product at the CV Show. In May the product got its official launch at the Reifen show in Essen. In the month between the two events, the company finished the prototype system that it developed in partnership with Bridgestone and secured the interest of two further partners. Bridgestone Europe and Cam International have shared details of a new tablet based work management system designed to reduce back-office issues and improve data entry in the commercial vehicle tyre sector. Speaking at a fringe meeting during the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham on 29 April, Bridgestone Europe’s Neil Purves (senior manager, automated inspection and systems development commercial product) and Cam’s Steve Daly explained that the two companies have been in talks since the last CV Show and have now made a Europe-wide cooperation agreement culminating in the development of the project’s software.
