Jinyu Tire has appointed business development directors for the German-speaking DACH region and Eastern Europe. Joerg Skubich is the Chinese tyre manufacturer’s business development director – DACH region, based in Germany. Ivo Yonov will be based in Sofia, Bulgaria, as business development director – Eastern Europe and Baltics.
Test World has announced the appointment of two key, new staff to manage demand from customers in Asia and mainland Europe. Investing in business development managers in China and Germany is intended to sustain and build on recent business expansion. Test World continues to meet the increased demand for its tyre and vehicle testing services at its Ivalo proving ground in northern Finland.

Sailun Tyres (Europe) has appointed Janis Amolins as its business development manager for East Europe. Amolins will be responsible for the sales and development of the Sailun Jinyu Group’s portfolio of four brands for Europe: Sailun, Jinyu, Black Lion and Rovelo. He joins the Sailun team with immediate effect.
Business minister Anna Soubry visited Dunlop Aircraft Tyres’ Birmingham plant to hear how the manufacturer’s further investment plans will help it expand its product range and increase international sales. The world’s only specialist manufacturer and retreader of aircraft tyres was one of four companies in the West Midlands that the minister visited during a fact-finding day in the region.
