Bridgestone is taking a 460m² stand (3-237) to next month’s Essen Show where it will present its Total Tyre Life message. This means deails of how it “provides tyre experts and fleet operators with the best solutions for measuring and controlling tyre performance and costs”, says Yves Kerstens, MD commercial business unit, Bridgestone Europe.
Tyre retailers will soon have a major new profit opportunity as legislation covering the fitment and testing of TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems) comes into force later this year. And suppliers including Apaseal/Tyresure, Autogem and Rema Tip Top will be exhibiting at Brityrex International to demonstrate the technical aspects of the systems and the commercial potential available.
Bond International has announced that it will promote its portfolio of six exclusive UK distributorships for brands including Marshall, Infinity, Admiral, Jinyu, Sailun and Rotalla at October’s Brityrex exhibition in Manchester. Leading tyre sector software firms will be on hand at Brityrex International 2012 in Manchester, offering show visitors the latest technology to improve the efficiency of their businesses. Cam Systems, MAM Software and TEAM Systems for example will each demonstrate their own solutions to the imminent tyre labelling legislation, due to come into force in November.
Long-term Brityrex exhibitor TEAM Systems, an ever present at the show since 1992, will mark the occasion by celebrating 20 years as an IT supplier to the tyre and fast fit sector. The latest version of its popular TEAM software containing a number of exciting new features will be on display, as will the company’s tyre labelling facility, which will be offered free of charge to existing customers.
Kings Road Tyres (KRT), the exclusive UK distributor of Aeolus truck, bus and OTR tyres has launched a new website for the brand to improve awareness and knowledge of the company’s range of specialist tyre applications.
Infinity Tyres has announced that the company will publish a self-titled lifestyle magazine in a bid to communicate the multifaceted nature of the brand. According to the company, Infinity likes to think of itself as more than just a tyre brand.
ECI International, the organiser of Brityrex, has confirmed that a series of technical seminars and demonstrations by industry experts will take place for visitors to Brityrex International 2012 in Manchester this October, providing a practical, hands-on environment. Organised by the National Tyre Distributors Association in conjunction with the Tyre Industry Federation, seminar topics will include: tyre pressure monitoring systems, tyre labelling legislation, the new tyre repair standard, BSAU159G, returning tyres under complaint and other highly topical issues at the three-day exhibition on 9-11 October, 2012.
Ling Long Tyres, distributed in the UK through LL Tyres Europe, has announced that it will exhibit at next October’s Brityrex International exhibition in Manchester’s new EventCity exhibition hall. Meanwhile, Infinity Tyres, whose Infinity brand tyres are manufactured by Ling Long manufacturer, Shandong Linglong, has joined the Steering Group for Brityrex International 2012. Infinity was responding to a request by exhibition organiser ECI and the show’s sponsor, the NTDA.
Infinity has introduced its INF100 van and small commercial vehicle tyre. The brand, manufactured at Shandong Linglong and owned by the Al Dobowi Group, says that the tyre was created using its Eco-Friendly Fuel-Efficient engineering process and Advanced Comfort Control Construction techniques.
No more than eight months before Brityrex International 2012 welcomes visitors through Event City's doors, the exhibition company responsible for the show (ECI International) is very upbeat about the speed of recent progress. Compared to the same stage ahead of the last exhibition in 2010, preparations are significantly ahead of schedule. But what exactly does this mean? And what does this year's show have in store for tyre industry visitors and exhibitors? Tyres & Accessories attended a recent Brityrex steering committee meeting chaired by the NTDA and held in central London to find out more.
Brityrex International 2012 in Manchester later this year will feature exhibits from Aeolus, Antyre, Profil, Treadsetters and Uniroyal in addition to those that have already committed to bring a presence to the show.
According to the show organisers ECI International, the latest names to confirm their attendance include: Uniroyal Truck Tyres, the Chinese manufactured brands Aeolus and Antyre, UK-based international wholesaler Treadsetters and Profil Tyres, the Polish car tyre retreader. They join other names such as Infinity Tyres, Westlake, Matador, Kleber agricultural and Cooper 4×4.
Tyre wholesaler Kings Road Tyres (KRT) has voiced its support for next October’s Brityrex International exhibition. The company describes itself as a long-standing supporter of the UK’s only dedicated tyre and equipment show; purchasing and marketing manager Tim Bader shares: “We are strong believers in the importance of the UK industry having its own successful and truly representative show. Brityrex aspires to become the focal point for our industry, a dedicated show where people do business, and that’s something we think is really important.”
Westlake Tyres, which are manufacturer by ZC Rubber (China largest domestic producer and number 10 in the world), has confirmed that it will exhibit at next October’s Brityrex International exhibition in Manchester. The latest news is being interpreted as a real boost for the 2012 Brityrex exhibition as ZC Rubber is a fast-growing international player with annual sales in 2010 of more than US$ 3 billion.
