Bridgestone has launched two new Battlax tyres respectively for the touring and adventure segments. The Adventure A41 is designed to provide improved wet grip and handling to help trail on-road bikers take on varied conditions. Meanwhile the manufacturer states that it has upgraded its motorcycle line-up with the launch of Battlax Sport Touring T31.

With the launch of the Niken, Yamaha has entered the three-wheeled sports motorcycle market for the first time. Original equipment tyres will be supplied by Bridgestone, specifically the new Battlax Adventure A41. A specially-developed version of the A41 will be fitted to the Niken in size 120/70 R15M/C 56V for the front wheels and 190/55 R17M/C 75V on the rear.
No fewer than five new tyres will join the Bridgestone Battlax motorcycle tyre portfolio in February 2018. The new arrivals are the Battlax Sport Touring T31 sport touring tyre, Battlax Adventure A41 for the adventure category, Battlax Scooter SC2 and Battlax Scooter SC2 Rain scooter tyres and Battlax Racing R11 circuit racing tyre.
No less than five new Bridgestone Battlax motorcycle tyres will be shown to the public for the first time at EICMA 2017 this month. The touring, adventure, scooter and racing segment tyres will be on display at the Bridgestone stand (Hall 24, Stand G57) between 7 and 12 November. The new additions to the Battlax range are:
Bridgestone will be much in evidence at the EICMA 73rd International Motorcycle Show in Milan, Italy, from 19 to 22 November, with a 178m² stand. The company will display new products, innovations and the wide range of Battlax tyres for all types of riders and motorcycles and there will be world premières for two new tyres; the Battlax Hypersport S21, fitted on the stunning new 1-litre Yamaha R1, and the Battlax Racing W01, Bridgestone’s new flagship hypersport wet racing tyre.
The Saroléa Manx 7 electric superbike has been homologated in the Isle of Man for public road use, fitted with Bridgestone Battlax RS 10 tyres. The company plans to develop and manufacture high performance street-legal electric motorcycles in limited editions on the Isle of Man. The Manx 7 itself is derived from the Saroléa SP7, which competed in the Isle of Man TT Zero races in 2014 and 2015. Racing on Bridgestone Battlax VO2 slicks, the Saroléa narrowly missed a podium finish this year after completing the 60km TT course at an average speed of more than 170km/h.
