An extension to Nexen Tire’s sports advertising in the USA commences today. Visitors to NBA games will see the Nexen Tire logo courtside and on television from 24 October, and this will be followed by brand placement at the NCAA from November 2023 and with a selection of MLB teams from March 2024.

This partnership is Falken Tire Corporation’s first deal with a professional sports league; for the past 30 years it has focused on motorsports marketing.
US baseball team the Boston Red Sox has an official tyre, and that tyre is Toyo. Under a multi-year agreement, the tyre maker will be represented on signage at Fenway Park, home of the Red Sox, and holds the right to use the official tyre designation in its marketing.
