Pirelli ‘highly commended’ at Northern Automotive Alliance Awards
Pirelli has been ‘Highly Commended’ within the Corporate and Social Responsibility Award for its approach to sustainability, and natural rubber sourcing at the 2019 Northern Automotive Alliance (NAA) Awards. The NAA judging panel congratulated Pirelli for “showing everyone that no matter how difficult, everyone has a part to play in ensuring an ethical supply chain.”
GKN Wheels on world’s fastest JCB Fastrac
GKN Wheels and Structures report that the company was one of the key partners in JCB’s recent tractor speed record. Following two successful runs at Elvington Airfield in York, the JCB Fastrac broke the world record for a tractor, achieving a peak speed of an incredible 153.771mph and an average of 135.191mph.

Yokohama wins SEMA award
The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) announced its Best New Products Award winners this morning at the 2019 SEMA Show. SEMA’s annual New Product Awards competition recognizes outstanding achievements in the development of products being introduced to the automotive specialty-equipment market at the SEMA Show. Products are judged in 16 award categories, and each category has one winner and two runners-up.
Consecutive Irish wholesale parts distributor awards for CD Group
CD Group has been awarded ‘Wholesale Parts Distributor of the Year’ for 2020 following its 2019 win for the same award. The Irish Auto Trade Awards seeks to recognise ‘the best operators in all sectors of the Irish auto aftermarket’ and is a national event comprising a 3 stage process made up of a nomination followed by two rounds of voting.

Servicesure begins search for Autocentre of the Year 2020

Second successive NTDA training award for Bridgestone
