Marangoni Group has previewed its plans for this year’s Autopromotec. In its exhibition area – hall 22, stand A46 – the group will be presenting both its Ringtread system of retreading and its Marix direct retreads of truck and earthmover tyres. In addition, the Marangoni group’s fleet advantage division will also be exhibiting for the first time, presenting a series of fleet tyre management solutions.
PCL returns to Autopromotec this year with its portfolio of products on-show in Hall 19 Stand A41. This is Bologna’s 26th show, and the May 2015 event will boast a new floor plan aimed at grouping exhibitors into areas of interest, helping visitors to plan their visit according to specific interests.
With Autopromotec just around the corner, Alligator Valve Group reports that the firm’s show presence will emphasize its sens.it family of products, a complete solution for replacement sensors in the automotive area. In particular sens.it-Statistics will get debut at Autopromotec. According to the company, this program module provides the operator (e.g. a tyre workshop) a quick overview of all sensors programmed at their service point to date. The newly developed print-out function also enables direct printing of the tyre pressure sensor diagnostic service record; if desired, this document can be handed over to the customer with the service bill, or entered into the customer file at the service company.

Sailun will display its latest range of patterns from a 96m2 stand in the Bologna Trade Fair Centre’s Hall 15 during Autopromotec (20-24 May 2015). The stand will be supported jointly by the manufacturer and its Italian distributor, Farnese.
Autopromotec, automotive equipment and aftermarket exhibition to be held in Bologna, between 20 and 24 May, recently unveiled the event schedule of its AutopromotecEDU sessions. AutopromotecEDU is billed as the arena for business-to-business meetings and discussions on the current issues of the automotive aftermarket industry.

Netherlands-based Event Tyres BV has revealed plans to launch three new products at the Autopromotec exhibition in Bologna, Italy in May. The new products are called the Futurum, Semita and Potentum and are aimed at high performance, SUV and UHP orientated vehicles respectively. With Autopromotec less than two months away, Tyres & Accessories spoke with Eddy Oost, managing director of Event Tyre BV, in order to find out more about the products and the company’s broader expansion strategy.
In conjunction with its Italian car and truck tyre distributor, Farnese, Sailun Tyres has confirmed it will have a 96 square metre island stand at the 2015 Autopromotec Show. Located in Hall 15, the Sailun stand (stand E18) will feature the whole range of existing passenger car and truck tyres. In addition company representatives suggest there will be “some new surprise packages!”
Vipal Rubber has announced that it is launching a new pre-cured tread for use on drive axle fitment tyres in the “highway” segment. Known as the DV-RT4, the name means it is designed by Vipal – “DV” and is for use in the drive axle, highway segment – “RT”. According to the Brazilian based retreading manufacturer, The DV-RT4 is designed for “those looking for more efficiency and profitability in highway cargo transport operations”.

Following a successful Autozum in Austria between 21 and 24 January Sailun is likely to give its Atrezzo ZSR tyre its Italian debut at Autopromtec in May. According to Sailun, the UHP-orientated Atrezzo ZSR was the main focus of the company’s show-stand earlier this year, but the Shandong Province, China-based tyre manufacturer also exhibited other passenger car and light truck patterns too.
Schrader International, a company well known for its direct TPMS sensors and which has an even longer history with valves reaching back decades, makes one of its first appearances on the European aftermarket trade show circuit following the company’s acquisition by Sensata in October 2014. With this in mind Tyres & Accessories asks what the firm is likely to be showing in Bologna.
