Exhibitor space at the inaugural Automechanika Birmingham exhibition, which will take place at the NEC 7 to 9 June 2016, has already sold out five months prior to launch. More than 550 UK and international businesses are set to attend.
More than 400 exhibitors have already committed to next year’s Automechanika Birmingham, the first Automechanika event to take place in the UK, and more than 500 are expected to be on board by opening day. Initial plans to hold the exhibition in a single hall at the NEC have been ditched in favour of a three-hall arrangement that covers in excess of 21,000 square metres. Early visitor and exhibitor number forecasts have also been doubled.
PCL has welcomed Messe Frankfurt’s decision to bring its international automotive show to the UK next year. Automechanika Birmingham, in partnership with trade association SMMT, will take place at the NEC, 7 – 9 June 2016, and PCL has already confirmed attendance.
The organisers of Automechanika Birmingham are reporting that the event, which will 7-9 June 2016, is already 35 per cent booked just a month after the exhibition was announced. Automechanika is the result of a partnership between the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) and Messe Frankfurt, the company behind well-known Automechanika trade fair brand.
