Automechanika Birmingham has announced that “Innovation” will be the leading theme for the 2019 event, held at Birmingham NEC on 4 to 6 June. Following extensive Automechanika research, “new technology and innovation” were key reasons to attend the event for independent garages, motor factors, retailers and bodyshops and so Automechanika is looking to build on this by highlighting all innovation from within the automotive industry.
Automechanika Birmingham has promoted Jack Halliday to event director, just under a year ago he joined the Messe Frankfurt UK subsidiary as head of sales.
Automechanika Birmingham will return to the NEC from 4 to 6 June 2019, with many major industry players signed up to exhibit. The show organisers say the 2019 edition looks likely to increase in size ahead of the event’s move to a biennial format starting in 2021.
