Autogem ramps up tyre diagnostics range

Autogem will unveil its second generation Treadspec drive-over tread scanner at Automechanika Birmingham (4-6 June, NEC Birmingham). The ramp, which the company states has been “extremely well-received” in its domestic USA market, offers a “no labour” diagnostic tool for the aftermarket. It supplements the company’s Groove Glove, also developed by Treadspec manufacturer Tire Profiles Inc, which allows garage mechanics to scan all four tyres on any given vehicle and discover the tread depth and alignment of each within 50 seconds.

Lord Coe to speak at Automechanika Birmingham Aftermarket Power Network

Automechanika Birmingham will host industry leaders from the UK aftermarket at an exclusive event, the Aftermarket Power Network, on Tuesday 4 June, in Hall 20 at the NEC. Lord Sebastian Coe will join the launch event to address the group. 200 leading personnel from the UK automotive aftermarket will be at the invitation-only event, hosted in the keynote area of the show and sponsored by ZF, SMMT and IAAF.

BM Catalysts set to exceed expectations at Automechanika Birmingham 2019

Liqui Moly exhibiting at Automechanika

Liqui Moly will present its full range of automotive chemicals at the Automechanika trade fair in Birmingham. “We don’t just supply oils and additives, we also have pretty much any chemical product required for anywhere in the car,” explained Ibrahim Memis, who is responsible for Liqui Moly ‘s business in Great Britain. “This makes us unique in the sector.”

Automechanika Garage of the Year open for entries

Automechanika Birmingham’s Garage of the Year competition is now open for entries. Sponsored by the Independent Garage Association (IGA) and run in partnership with Garage Wire, the competition is open to garages from across the UK and Ireland. Entries can be made online at Garage Wire, but must be submitted before the deadline of 26 April 2019.
