Arnold Clark Autoparts expands range of EV parts

Following a recent parts catalogue expansion, Arnold Clark Autoparts claims to have the UK market’s largest range of aftermarket electric vehicle parts, including popular Tesla components. The UK hit its millionth EV registered in January 2024, according to SMMT figures, and Arnold Clark Autoparts has strategically enhanced its inventory to cover more of the market. It says its comprehensive range offers EV owners and repair shops access to high-quality, affordable parts.

Arnold Clark Autoparts offers extra value to garages with technical training event

Arnold Clark Autoparts recently hosted a technical training evening at the GTG Training Centre in Wolverhampton to offer garages technical expertise, networking opportunities and industry knowledge from leading suppliers and organisations. Speakers included Mark Field, Chief Executive of the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF), as the voice of the motor industry. Field delivered an update on current affairs affecting garage businesses and other pressing issues such as 2035 ban, the right to repair and MOT changes.

Craig McCracken becomes IAAF president

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has appointed Craig McCracken, group factor manager at Arnold Clark Autoparts, as new president. He succeeds immediate past president Richard Welland and will remain on the IAAF board, alongside Richard, honorary treasurer Lawrence Bleasdale and chief executive Mark Field. McCracken has more than 40 years’ experience in the automotive industry and has worked for Arnold Clark for 37 years.
