Yokohama makes senior management changes

The board of directors of Nokian Tyres plc has appointed Andrei Pantioukhov, 44, as the interim president and CEO starting 1 January 2017. Pantioukhov currently serves as Nokian Tyres’ general manager, Russian operations and continues also in this role. He has been in the company since 2004, a member of the management since 2009 and executive vice president since the beginning of 2016.
Tim BeVier, manager of National Account Business Development at Tech International, was elected board of directors president for the Tire Retread and Repair Information Bureau (TRIB) at the association’s recent annual board meeting. He will commence his two-year term as president on 1 January 2017.

Prinx Chengshan Europe appointed Marina Mamojka, who comes from outside the tyre industry, as its marketing director in November.
Prior to joining Prinx Chengshan, Mamojka spent more than a decade in a media environment. During this time she was responsible for marketing and sales in the major Slovakian TV, radio and printing media houses.
Standards Testing Laboratories, Inc. (STL), the world’s largest independent testing facility for tyres, wheels and related automotive components, has appointed Dave Martin to the position of director of Technology.
Bandvulc has added Marc Kinnear to its sales & key account management team. He joins Bandvulc having been in the tyre industry for over 14 years in varying roles, most recently in an operational and administrative position which enabled him to gain valuable account management experience.
Cenex has appointed Steve Carroll as Head of Transport. As Head of Transport, Carroll will be responsible for carrying out Cenex’s large-scale vehicle trials; developing new relationships with technology innovators, local governments and end users; and helping fleet owners and local authorities realise the value of investing in low carbon vehicle technology.
Following the establishment of Hamaton Inc. in the US, Hamaton has appointed Enri Osmani, as general manager of the North America business. According to the company, he brings with him “significant depth of experience gained from senior roles which have taken him into both the Automotive aftermarket and OE sectors.”
Based at the new headquarters in Wixom, Michigan, and working closely with the management team of Hamaton Ltd in the UK, he will coordinate the development of Hamaton Inc. which will ensure that Hamaton’s North American customer base will receive valuable field sales, technical, training and product support.
TyrePal has hired Steve Coffin – a telematics expert – as operations director. Before joining TyrePal, Coffin was marketing and operations director for MiX Telematics Europe. In this role, he was responsible for maintenance and sales to all existing clients and also handled marketing activity across Europe. He was part of the management team that established the company when it was divested from Siemens VDO Automotive and has been responsible for handling a 10-year contract with the Go-Ahead Group, a leading bus operator in the UK with 4,500 vehicles.
The International Rubber Study Group, IRSG has named Salvatore Pinizzotto as its new secretary general. Pinizzotto will officially take up the post on 1 January 2017 at the end of the tenure of Dr Stephen Evans.
RH Claydon Ltd are pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Gooch as business development manager for East Anglia and the South East.
Gooch brings with him over 30 years’ experience in the tyre industry. After beginning with Goodyear, he worked with Semperit and Continental, selling their full range of products in the East and South East of the UK.
Goodyear reports that Joe Zekoski has succeeded Gregory Smith as senior vice president of global operations effective 17 August 2016, according to a regulatory filing published by Goodyear.
Smith was hired by Goodyear in September 2011 for the global operations position and will leave the company on 15 December 2016.
Pelmar Group’s board of directors has appointed Tal Dekel as president. Dekel, who holds an MBA, was previously CEO of TGL SP Industries, a fully-owned subsidiary of the Pelmar Group.
Apollo Vredestein has appointed Karl Naylor as UK country manager effective 11 July. Naylor brings with him over 20 years’ experience in sales and marketing at Michelin, Grouptyre and latterly with Kumho Tyre (UK).
