Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels has named Perry Lease vice president of sales. Lease, who previously served as director of national retail sales, North America Tire Operations for Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., will be responsible for driving profitable sales and growing global market share for Mickey Thompson across all segments, including street, strip, racing, off-road and others.
As of 1 June 2017 Hille Korhonen will be Nokian Tyres’s new president and chief executive office.
Hille Korhonen has more than 20 years of experience in international consumer business. Before joining Nokian Tyres, Korhonen was member of the executive team of Fiskars Oyj Abp (2008–2012) and Iittala corporation (2003–2008) as well as CEO of Alko Oy from 2013. Korhonen has been member of the board of Nokian Tyres plc since 2006.
George Rietbergen (who was formerly Goodyear Dunlop’s UK and Ireland managing director before becoming the firm’s group’s vice president Commercial EMEA and then managing director, DACH) has been nominated to the board of Nokian Tyres.

ATMA (the Indian Automotive Tyre Manufacturers’ Association) has appointed Satish Sharma, Apollo Tyres Ltd’s president, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APMEA as the body’s next chairman.
Andy Fern has joined Kwik-Fit as fleet sales director following an 18-year career with Michelin, most recently as national fleet sales manager. He replaces Peter Lambert who has retired after seven years as Kwik-Fit GB fleet director. Meanwhile, Simon Lucas has been promoted to the new role of customer support director of Kwik Fit GB. This role includes responsibility for Kwik-Fit Mobile, numbering some 200 vehicles, and the management of the company’s Customer Support Centre in Tannochside, Scotland, serving both fleet and retail customers. Both Fern and Lucas will report directly to Kwik-Fit GB managing director Kenji Murai.

The board of directors of Nokian Tyres plc has appointed Andrei Pantioukhov, 44, as the interim president and CEO starting 1 January 2017. Pantioukhov currently serves as Nokian Tyres’ general manager, Russian operations and continues also in this role. He has been in the company since 2004, a member of the management since 2009 and executive vice president since the beginning of 2016.
