By expanding its product range with 50 new parts, First Line Ltd. aims to further demonstrate its “dedication to providing extensive aftermarket solutions for a broad spectrum of vehicle applications.” The latest range expansion includes 18 additional parts in friction and cables, 12 in turbo hoses and hoses, seven in steering and suspension, seven in cooling, five in wheel bearings, and one in transmission.
In 2019 30.2 million MOTs were completed. That figure increased to 31.3 million in 2021 and it is expected to grow again in 2022. Specifically, over a million more MOTs are expected to be conducted this year compared to 2019, according to SecretService.
Staffordshire based aftermarket exhausts supplier Klarius claims it is “pulling away” from competition in its market-leading position. ATR International AG, one of the world’s largest international trade cooperations for automotive spare parts, has won a new shareholder in the United Kingdom. The German-based company reports that Nottinghamshire-based Digraph Transport Supplies Ltd. Joined the network at the start of this year.

Automotive parts manufacturer Federal-Mogul is changing hands for US$5.4 billion. The new owner is vehicle ride performance and clean air products manufacturer Tenneco Inc., which yesterday signed a definitive agreement to acquire the business from Icahn Enterprises L.P. The acquisition is to be funded through cash, Tenneco equity and assumption of debt and is expected to close in the second half of 2018, subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals and other customary closing conditions.
