The Schaeffler team was out in force at the two-day ECP managers’ conference at the Birmingham Hilton to support, advise and inform attendees of the ongoing developments in vehicle technology and the solutions that the OE manufacturer provides for the aftermarket. The Schaeffler team included Simon Cooper presenting LuK transmission systems, Mike Hansford on FAG steering & suspension, Brad Adams on INA FEAD, Tim Adams on INA thermal management, Liam Iredale demonstrating Schaeffler’s electronic cataloguing systems and James Mainwaring discussing all things REPXPERT.

Automechanika Birmingham will be partnering with the National Tyre Distribution Association (NTDA) for its 2023 event. Taking place from 6 to 8 June 2023 at the NEC, Automechanika Birmingham 2023 will be the first UK event since 2019 and is already set to be a sell-out show packed with new brands exhibiting, features and training hubs for collision repair, electric vehicles, ADAS and more. NTDA Chief Executive Stefan Hay commented: “We hope that more of our supplier members will join the hundreds of other businesses at the largest national gathering of automotive professionals in the UK and showcase their latest parts, components, equipment, tools, technologies and services this year. Pallet delivery specialist H&M Distribution has simplified its tachograph administration by adopting a single management system with TruTac. The company operates a fleet of 73 vehicles, comprised predominantly of articulated and rigid trucks, along with a small number of vans. It delivers palletised products to more than 200 customers around the UK from its depots in Bedford, St Neots and Gloucester. It began using TruTac’s TruAnalysis system in July, prior to which it had two separate pieces of software for tacho downloads and analysis.
