ATS Euromaster secures ISO 9001:2015
ATS Euromaster has gained the latest ISO 9001 certification a full two and a half years ahead of deadline – making it the only national tyre and vehicle service provider to hold the highest award for quality management. New regulations mean that by September 2018, organisations that hold current ISO 9001 certification will have to prove that they meet the more stringent requirements of ISO 9001:2015.

More than a third (37.2%) of drivers who called out the AA to fit new tyres were either driving with tread depths below the 1.6mm legal minimum (9.6%) – or were on the limit (27.6%), according to the latest data from the AA. The AA analysed thousands of call outs in 2016 to its team of specialist tyre fitters – providing a snapshot of the state of tyres on Britain’s roads.

A new survey by mobile tyre fitting service TyresOnTheDrive.com suggests that young drivers are more than twice as likely as their elders to avoid getting a potentially dangerous problem with their car inspected urgently. The company commissioned the study to find out how apathetic UK drivers are when it comes to knowing about, but ignoring, problems with their cars. In total, 1,006 drivers of all ages were asked how long they would wait to visit a garage for various problems with their car, such as warning lights, noises and leaks.
