Britain’s round of the FIM Moto2 and Moto3 World Championships take place at Silverstone’s GoPro British Grand Prix over the weekend of 24-26 August. The event marks the first appearance of the British Talent Cup (BTC) alongside the World Championships, supported by Dunlop tyres. The manufacturer states that it is using the BTC to support young talent coming up through the ranks by giving them the tyre knowledge and skills they need to progress. It aims to provide a pathway to MotoGP for British riders.

Lothian renews Michelin Solutions tyre contract
Lothian will continue to roll on premium Michelin tyres after the largest municipal bus company in the UK renewed a three-year Effitires contract with Michelin solutions. The new agreement will see Michelin solutions supply, fit and manage tyres across Lothian’s fleet of more than 800 single and double-deck buses, which is used to operate more than 70 services in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas of Midlothian and East Lothian.

Following on from its fitment of Michelin CrossClimate+ tyres to 148 rapid response Skoda Scout cars last year, East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) has now moved its 449-strong blue light ambulance fleet across to a 100 per cent Michelin Agilis CrossClimate tyre policy. The rollout will see 332 Fiat Ducato accident and emergency ambulances and 117 Peugeot Boxers fitted with Michelin rubber.
