Klarius offers new parts for Mercedes C-Class
Klarius has added 33 new emission control components, including a new aftermarket catalytic converter and several more options for the Mercedes C-Class. The 1993 launched C-Class provided an entry-level version of the luxurious S-Class, popular enough to entre its fifth generation 30 years later. The fourth generation (W205) was launched in 2014 at the North American International Auto Show with bold new styling, four different body types and a new, lighter design that used aluminium and high strength throughout the body. On the market until 2021, the fourth generation C-Class also had an update in 2019, which altered parts including the exhaust components.

The National Association of Motor Auctions (NAMA) has commented on the current stability of the motor auction market, saying that good stock continues to move well, with the first quality electric vehicles appearing in auctions achieving a 100 per cent conversion rate. With an increase in commercial vehicle stock, more effort is needed to keep transactions flowing. “The market continues to exhibit stability amidst seasonal fluctuations, reflecting resilience and adaptability within the industry,” said Paul Hill, spokesperson for NAMA.

Pirelli has revised plans to expand its Carlisle tyre plant in response to demand for further storage space. Documents received by Carlisle City Council and Cumberland Council on 22 July show that Pirelli has enlarged the proposed “green tyre store” it intends to build adjacent to the Dalston Road factory’s main manufacturing building. At 2,650 square metres, the planned tyre storage building is now 200 square metres larger than as shown on the previously approved plan that Pirelli submitted in June 2023.
