New Klarius parts ready for busy MOT period
As the UK went into lockdown earlier in the year in response to the coronavirus pandemic, the Government announced an extension to the MOT period, giving motorists up to an additional six months before their vehicle had to undergo its yearly ‘health check’ for roadworthiness. The inevitable result of this has seen a backlog of vehicles awaiting testing and an unprecedented number of MOTs now on the horizon, despite advice and warnings from the trade and authorities not to leave things to the last minute.

Continue ReadingWill Covid-19 accelerate popularity of car-sharing schemes?
Data and analytics company GlobalData is forecasting that Covid-19 lockdowns and an increase in working from home worldwide has limited the need to own private vehicles, which will cause more consumers to consider new models of vehicle ownership. This has implications for the insurance industry. As more people turn to car-sharing schemes for their transportation needs, this will reduce the number of private motor insurance policies in force. In their place, insurers will need to provide short-term policies for drivers using these services.

UK social media ranking: Michelin continues to lead, but several changes and one new entry into top 10
