CSG renews two-year tyre contract with Bandvulc
Waste management group, CSG, has committed to a further two years with Bandvulc, the retread subsidiary of Continental. The decision takes the tyre management contract between the two companies into its seventh year, at a time when fleet numbers across CSG and sister company J&G have risen to close to 150 vehicles.

NeroForce, based in Leipheim, Germany, was founded by managing directors Andreas Müller and Martin Kalagin, who between them have more than 25 years of strategic experience of the global retread market, both having worked for Bridgestone, and then B&J Rocket and Marangoni respectively. Thanks to this background, Kalagin told Tyres & Accessories that combining this retreading market experience with a more hands-on view of retreaders’ requirements, NeroForce is well placed to tailor its product range to the needs of today’s retreaders.

Marangoni has confirmed that its production and logistics activities are “running smoothly in all…plants” despite the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak in Italy. Writing in a statement published on 11 March 2020, Marangoni representatives said: “We are therefore able to receive and process the orders while adopting all the necessary procedures to protect the workers’ health. In particular, our company is taking all the actions to be consistent with the measures provided by the responsible Authorities.”

Following what it calls an “extensive period of investment” at its manufacturing facility in Klang, some 25 miles southwest of Kuala Lumpur, Maxrubber has announced the start of a “targeted export drive” with a view to “developing a strong presence in the European market.”

Global retreading supplier Vipal Rubber’s VT110 tread has been approved in Romania following trials conducted by fleet operator Senidav Trans SRL. The Eastern European fleet company carried out performance tests using retreaded tyres with the VT110, recording favourable results against a competitor brand. Measurements were recorded by Vipal’s Moldovan partner, Tehno Profil, after 260,000km on Romanian roads, which present adverse track conditions, with mountains, slopes, snow, and other problems.
