The SUV is being fitted with 225/60R17 99H size tyres. As well as the 225/60R17 Geolandar G91 tyre Yokohama is supplying, the Crosstrek will also be fitted with 225/55R18 tyres.

It has turned to Pirelli, who is delivering the Scorpion All Terrain Plus, a tyre it claims to have “designed for the most challenging conditions.” The tyre will be standard equipment on the new Porsche 911 Dakar, a reinterpretation of the classic coupé with maximised off-road capabilities.

The manufacturer will supply the electric Škoda Enyaq iV with Ventus S1 evo 3 ev tyres specially developed for electric cars. The partnership follows Hankooks existing OE deal with the Volkswagen Group to supply the same tyres to the Volkswagen ID.4. Depending on the model variant of Škoda’s first electric SUV, sizes 18 to 20 inches are available. Hankook joins Bridgestone in supplying the Enyaq iV, with the latter offering its Enliten Technology enabled Turanza Eco, Tyrepress sister site WhatTyres Eco Tyre of the Year 2022.

On its 10 November board meeting, Aeolus approved a project with a total investment of 610 million yuan (about 73.12 million pounds, 82.93 million euros) at its manufacturing base in Jiaozuo, China. It is reported that the tyre company plans to increase the annual production capacity of 80,000 tyres through reconstruction, including giant tyres and engineering radial tyres. The construction period is expected to be 18 months.
