Electromobility: BKT debuts E-Ready mark on Agrimaxfactor
BKT wants us to know that it is “ready” for electric mobility in the off-highway segment, and is denoting products it has tailored for such vehicles with a new E-Ready sidewall logo. E-Ready made its debut at last November’s SIMA exhibition in Paris on the Agrimaxfactor 70 series tractor tyre range, and BKT plans to gradually extend its use to all products in this category.

BM Catalysts reports that it has experienced “ongoing high demand throughout the year, and with trends pointing to future European market growth, global demand is set to continue.” In order ensure it is set up to meet this demand, in 2022, the company opened its third manufacturing plant in the UK for final assembly. BM Catalysts’ three manufacturing facilities enables the company to stock over 60,000 parts, covering 95 per cent of the European car parc, while also developing up to 300 new-to-range parts each year. Once at full capacity, it will allow additional capacity of up to 200,000 units per year.

Bridgestone is adding a new brand to its tyre line-up in 2023 with the launch of the Newno range. Initially available in Japan only, Bridgestone promotes Newno as a “low fuel consumption tyre” that offers “safer and more secure mobility life for a wide range of customers” as well as “low environmental impact.” The Newno range debuts in Bridgestone’s domestic market on 1 February and will be available in 65 dimensions for 13- to 18-inch rim diameters.
