Falken OE on North American Mazda CX-90
Don’t look for it on UK roads, but motorists in selected regions will soon add the Mazda CX-90 to their large crossover SUV portfolios. The CX-90 will arrive in North America first, and when it does it will be available with Falken Ziex CT60A AS all-season tyres as original equipment.

The recently announced updates to TyreClub+ are now live in seven markets. In addition to tyre dealers in the UK, Pirelli reports that users in France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Spain are now benefitting from an “entirely revised” TyreClub+ that is “easier and more efficient” The updated TyreClub+ will reach further markets during 2023 with “increasingly advanced” features.

Black Star, the car tyre retreading operation owned that took over the ex-Bridgestone Bethune new tyre factory, has launched its new range of retreaded car tyres called “Leonard”. Blackstar is run by iWip, the Mobivia subsidiary dedicated to the circular economy. Mobivia also owns the ATU autocentre chain in Germany as well as the Norauto garage business in France amongst other enterprises.

Bosch estimates that electric vehicles will account for around 70 per cent of Europes newly registered passenger cars by 2030. And the growing electric v vehicle parc means increasing demand for both new batteries and for the recycled raw materials they contain, such as lithium, cobalt, and nickel. In response, Bosch has developed new machinery, equipment and software for this purpose. Specifically, Bosch subsidiary Bosch Rexroth is supplying Battery Lifecycle Company, a joint venture between Remondis subsidiary TSR Recycling and Rhenus Automotive, with Europe’s first fully automated system for discharging and disassembling battery modules.

Opt for 20-inch rims, and the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 060 comes as standard equipment in the front size 235/50R20 104V XL and 255/45R20 105W XL.
