Two new Galaxy Yardmaster sizes
A pair of new tyres have entered the Galaxy Yardmaster range. The size 250-15 NHS and 300-15 NHS fitments for forklifts are designed for high performance in medium intensity operations, and Alliance Tire Group says they can be distinguished by a strong casing with stiff sidewalls, which ensure pneumatic ride comfort and stability particularly during lifting operations.

Tyre tests are no exception here, and therefore the pride Goodyear shows in its tyres’ test performance is understandable. The tyre maker reports that, in 208 magazine tyre tests carried out by 37 well-known European publications and organisations over the past five years – including Auto Express, ADAC, Auto Bild, Auto Bild Allrad, Auto Zeitung, Gute Fahrt, Auto Moto and ACE/GTÜ – Goodyear tyres were recommended in more than 80 per cent of them. Goodyear was named test winner in 43 of these tests.

Exports of British-built vans, trucks and buses rose 11.6 per cent in the first six months of 2017, with almost all headed to the EU, according to figures released today by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). Nearly two-thirds (63.5 per cent) of commercial vehicles (CVs) built in Britain were exported, with 27,818 of the 43,782 total produced headed to more than 45 countries around the world.
