Osram introduces Night Breaker 220 bulbs
Osram’s Night Breaker 220 is the company’s brightest halogen bulb for cars, with up to 220 per cent more light on the road and up to 150 metre long beam. These cutting-edge headlight lamps have up to 20 per cent whiter light compared to the minimum legal standard, providing more light and improved visibility, which can help drivers react to road conditions more quickly. The Night Breaker 220 is available in H4, H7 and H11 with a new gold cap.

In its 2024 summer tyre test, the German motoring association ADAC examined only one product size rather than the usual two, focusing on just a single dimension so that testing capacity was available to address increasing demand within the all-season tyre segment. The ADAC test team looked at 16 all-season tyres in the popular 205/55 R16 size. For the first time in its years of all-season tyre testing, the motoring club awarded one product – its test winner – a good rating. It declared a further six tyres to be satisfactory, seven adequate, and found two to be insufficient.
