Li Taoyuan, the former controlling shareholder and actual controller of Shenghang Group has signed a share transfer agreement and a voting entrustment agreement with China Wanda Group.

Nokian Tyres debuts new summer, all-season van tyres
New summer and all-season products have joined the Nokian Tyres portfolio for vans and delivery vehicles. After debuting the Seasonproof C1 all-season tyre in November, Nokian Tyres will release the Cargoproof C summer tyre in February 2025. Continental divests Zonar fleet management business
With a spin-off on the cards, Continental is pursuing a strategy of focusing on core strengths and streamlining business operations within its Automotive sector. As part of this focus, the company has sold its 2016-acquired fleet management business Zonar to GPS Trackit, an industry pioneer in cloud-based, IoT fleet solutions and GPS fleet tracking. Neither Continental nor GPS Trackit’s parent, Philadelphia, USA-based buyout firm Inverness Graham, have disclosed the financial terms or other details of the transaction.

AI-supported app collects tyre data in seconds
Hand scanners, callipers and even the naked eye are still the main tools that many use to assess the quality of tyres. But these approaches take too long and make human error an occupational hazard. Furthermore, these data points are often written down by hand before later being entered manually into a digital ERP system, all making room for more mistakes to creep in.
