Giti Tire sponsored Team Oliver Racing secured three one-two finishes in four races at the Truck Grand Prix at the Zolder Race Circuit, Belgium. In race one British and European Truck Racing Champion Stuart Oliver finished first with Martin Gibson, manager EU Testing Centre & Motorsport UK for Giti Tire, securing his inaugural podium finish in second. In the following race the team achieved the same result having started from the back of a reverse grid on the narrow and twisty four kilometre circuit. The third saw Oliver victorious again before race four when Gibson went on to win his first-ever truck race, this time with his teammate just behind.

Competing in a Hyundai i20 R5 piloted by John Wink and co-driver John Forrest, the pair will be using their debut experience of the event last year alongside their extended testing programme in 2018, which has seen them secure an impressive third place overall in the MSA Scottish Rally Championship.

BMW Motorsport and Dunlop have extended their long-established partnership in the VLN Endurance Championship for at least another two years. The tyre maker will continue to equip all BMW Cup-class cars in the VLN races. These races are run at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, and Dunlop will also supply its 265/660 R18 racing tyres for the circuit’s 24-hour race.

The 2018 Junior World Rally Championship (JWRC) will be decided by the final round, Rally Turkey. Getting under way this evening, Rally Turkey is a new event where the young drivers, who compete in identical Ford Fiesta R2s fitted with Pirelli tyres, gain a chance to obtain double points. Eight crews still have a mathematical chance of claiming the top prize, a new Ford Fiesta R5 with a tyre and fuel package, together with support for the 2019 WRC2 season.
