Falken to display extensive range at The Tire Cologne
From energy-efficient EV tyres to robust off-road rubber to inspiring UUHP and commercial vehicle treads - Falken is presenting the most extensive range to date for all seasons - including the new Ziex ZE320. Visitors to the Sumitomo Rubber Industries flagship tyre brand will see its latest innovative tyres, such as the UUHP tire Azenis RS820, approved for speeds of up to 300 km/h, at the almost 400 sqm exhibition stand (Hall 6.1/C010 to D019). The Falken Ziex ZE320, the successor to the Falken Ziex ZE310 Ecorun, is also presented here. Even without the Ecorun designation, the new tyre is still more environmentally friendly than its predecessor.

March’s new car registration figures from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) have shown a decline following growth in the first two months of 2024. Across the EU, registrations declined by -5.2 per cent, this included major markets like Germany (-6.2 per cent), Spain (-4.7 per cent), Italy (-3.7 per cent), and France (-1.5 per cent). However, for Q1, car registrations increased by 4.4 per cent in the EU, with solid growth in Italy (+5.7 per cent), France (+5.7 per cent), Germany (+4.2 per cent), and Spain (+3.1 per cent).
