Vipal Bulgarian distributor trained 15 companies in 2019
Bulgarian retreading and tyre repair firm Basvulk opened a new training centre in March 2019 to expand its customers’ knowledge. In the eight months since, Basvulk trained 15 companies in how to properly apply materials during tyre repairing processes. Vipal Rubber said its leading position in South America as an important global manufacturer of tyre repairing and retreading products is supported by its commitment to the technical qualification of its sector.

This marks the fourth funding for Rivian in 2019 and earlier it has already raised more than US$1.5bn from Ford, Amazon and Cox Automotive.

Together with German distributor Bohnenkamp, ATG has helped its tyres reach new heights by sponsoring an expedition upon the highest active volcano in the world, Ojos del Salado. The expedition team, driving Mercedes-Benz Unimog U5023 trucks fitted with Alliance tyres, reached an altitude of 6,694 metres during their quest to install life-saving solar-powered emergency radio communication systems in high mountain shelters. This feat broke the previous truck and car altitude records.
