Goodyear to debut Omnitrac mixed service OTR tyres at Bauma
Goodyear will feature its flagship products and solutions for construction fleets at the 2019 Bauma exhibition in Munich (8-14 April 2019). These will include the recently-announced Goodyear Omnitrac mixed service tyre range, which makes its exhibition debut at the show. The manufacturer will also showcase its Goodyear Proactive Solutions TPMS Heavy Duty, EMTrack tyre management system and the TL-4A OTR tyre. The manufacturer will be on Stand 224 in Hall A6 at the Messe München.

Liqui Moly enters Formula 1 advertising deal
The German oil and additive specialist Liqui Moly has signed an advertising deal with Formula 1. It will advertise on the race track at eleven races, one of a few select brands. “We hope that out of the more than one billion viewers who follow this spectacle on television all over the world every year, it may occur to some of them to take a closer look at Liqui Moly and purchase our products,” explains CEO Ernst Prost. Formula 1 is not new to the lubricant brand; Liqui Moly was involved with Team Jordan in the 2000s.

Goodyear Dunlop Tyres UK has acquired Weeting Tyres, a leading tyre retail company based in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex, UK. The company operates four branches as a franchisee in Goodyears HiQ autocare network - in Bury St Edmunds, Chelmsford, Ipswich & Kings Lynn - as well as one independent branch in Brandon, Suffolk, which also functions as its head office. The area served by the latter branch is described as having a high value car parc. All sites will become Goodyear’s equity operating under the HiQ brand following the completion of the acquisition.

Conti360° Fleet Services has opened its newly rebranded suite of offices, at Bandvulc’s Lee Mill site, in Ivybridge. The extended office facilities have been launched after a two and-a-half year integration project following Continental’s acquisition of Bandvulc in 2016. The launch follows the merger of both company’s fleet support networks under the unified Conti360° Fleet Services banner in September 2018, and the relocation of all Conti360° Fleet Services support and 24-hour Breakdown Service teams to Ivybridge.
