Hankook showing non-pneumatic i-Flex at CES 2022
Hankook Tire & Technology is jointly showcasing its ‘i-Flex’ non-pneumatic tyre with Hyundai Motor Company at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022, which begins today in Las Vegas. The tyre will appear in Hyundai’s new Plug & Drive (PnD) Module, a modular platform based on robotics technology that enables mobility of traditionally inanimate things. Hankook says its i-Flex maximises the characteristics and functions of the PnD module.”

Goodyear Farm Tires will provide a significant boost to UK and European farmers in 2022 by offering an enhanced supply of radial tyres. These will come from production in Turkey, a site that has traditionally made cross-ply tyres but is now about to benefit from a new plant. From early 2022, Goodyear will source radial agricultural tyres there too, initially offering the UK and European markets 20 key radial sizes. This figure should double by the end of the year.

At the same time, Titan International offered its view on third-party interest in Trelleborg Wheel Systems.

Prinx Chengshan Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries have issued a profit warning to shareholders and potential investors. The company’s Board of Directors informs that although they anticipate group revenues for 2021 increasing by approximately 20 per cent year-on-year (2020 revenue: 6.28 billion yuan), they project that net profit will decline by approximately 50 per cent year-on-year, to an expected 260 million to 330 million yuan (£30.8 million to £39.1 million).
