Tronchetti Provera made the proposal with the aim of supporting the execution of Pirelli’s forthcoming industrial plan, which will be presented on 31 March 2021, according to a company statement dated 24 March 2021.

Workshop equipment and wheel alignment specialist Pro-Align has appointed a former Kwik Fit branch manager to its sales team. Tom Burkett, a former director and owner of a mobile tyre fitting service and branch manager at Kwik Fit, has been appointed to join the team as a sales executive, covering the Midlands and South Wales region. The Hunter distributor said the addition of Burkett will provide “even greater levels of support to workshops across the country.”

With nearly 25 years’ experience in the automotive aftermarket, Wowczyna joined NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd in 2012 as general manager – aftermarket.

Nigel Morgan, managing director of Schaeffler’s Automotive Aftermarket division in the UK, has decided to step aside after more than 40 years continual service with the company. His retirement leaves some ‘rather large boots’ to fill at Schaeffler, so stepping up to the newly-created position of ‘country manager UK & Ireland’ will be Mark Dolloway, who joined Schaeffler from SKF in 2012. Dolloway will, in turn, be replaced as sales director by Matt Selby, who has been with the company since 2007.
