Insa Turbo appoints new commercial director
Spain-based retreader Insa Turbo has named Salvador Pérez Lucena its commercial director. In his new position, Pérez Lucena will be involved with the Insa Turbo brand and other Grupo Soledad companies, including retreader and rubber compound manufacturer MCE Mezclas Caucho and rubber automotive components manufacturer Cauchos Verdú. Insa Turbo says the appointment was made “in order to revitalise the company and achieve new goals of positioning and expansion in the sector, both nationally and internationally.”

Starting 1 January 2015, Thierry Delesalle will take over responsibility within Delticom’s Management Board for both the company’s consumer market passenger car tyres and complete wheel set business in Western European markets, and for marketing. In his role as a purchase manager and head of country management, Delesalle has been responsible for the daily operations of Delticom’s B2C E-Commerce passenger car tyre business in Western Europe since 2011. In his current position, he works closely together with the online tyre retailer’s marketing department and reports directly to the Management Board.

Marangoni Retreading Systems appointed Nejat Dagdemir as general manager of its Marangoni Kaucuk Ticaret, Turkish sales subsidiary, which is located in Izmir. With 400,000 retreads a year and around 80 retreaders, Turkey is the sixth biggest European market in terms of the total number of retreads, and second only to Germany regarding cold retreading technology. This means that, with the Marangoni Ringtread and Unitread lines, Marangoni Kaucuk Ticaret has a 20 per cent share of the domestic market - that’s according to company representatives who characterize this as a good level, although less than in other European countries.

The news follows a meeting of the board of directors of Société Auxiliaire de Gestion (SAGES), in its capacity as non-managing general partner of Compagnie Générale des Etablissements Michelin (CGEM) on 6 October 2014. During this meeting SAGES submitted a proposal for approval to the Supervisory Board to renew Jean-Dominique Senard’s term for another four years from 22 May 2015 (the previous terms official expiry date).
