Management changes at Federal-Mogul Motorparts
Federal-Mogul Motorparts, a division of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corporation, has announced changes to its senior management personnel and structure. Martin Hendricks, president, Global Braking and regional president, EMEA, will additionally assume the responsibilities for Aftermarket EMEA, a post previously held by Olivier Legrand. Massimo Altafini has been confirmed as the new vice-president, Sales Aftermarket EMEA. These changes became effective as of 1 April 2016.

In April 2017 a new apprenticeship levy will be introduced with the purpose of increasing the quality and number of apprenticeships across UK. Employers with a wage-bill of less than £3 million will not pay the levy, whereas those with a wage-bill of £3 million or more will have to contribute at a rate of 0.5 per cent of their pay bill. However, the first £3 million of the payroll will be excluded by a discount that will give some relief, in line with smaller businesses.

After more than seven years at Pon/Continental Banden Groep, Bert Stellinga is to leave the company on 1 May 2016 in order to pursue “a career outside Pon”. Latterly Stellinga was director of marketing intelligence and pricing at Pon Tyre Group. Before that, he was managing director of Continental Banden Groep (the Dutch arm of the major German-based tyre manufacturer), which is run by Pon. Prior to this Stellinga was Vredestein UK managing director. No further details about where Stellinga is going have been released. News about who will replace him at Pon Group will follow in due course.

Bertaina will be based at the companys Americas headquarters office in Nashville and provide leadership for all global digital marketing activities.

Yesterday, the Film division of Rock The Moon Productions announced it has sold the rights to develop the film ‘The Corporation’ to Paramount Pictures in partnership with Appian Way Productions, the film company founded by Leonardo DiCaprio.
